Join one of the UK's most exciting & dependable construction organisations. This company employ over 300 staff in the UK & are recognised for their design & build expertise in social housing, healthcare & educational projects.

They are looking to expand their team in North London by recruiting a Mechanical & Electrical Manager (Design & Production).

The project is a £90M social housing & mixed development scheme. The project is currently at the commercial stage but will be going into production in the near future.

The successful candidate must have:

-at least 5 years experience of the management of mechanical & electrical packages on site working with a building contractor.

-Direct procurement experience

-Good negotiation skills

-Full, provable, working knowledge of electrical regulations, relevant BS standards, management of the H&S risks

-Experience with dealing with statutory authorities

-Good contractual awareness

-Experience in financial management

In addition knowledge of biomass energy systems would be useful as would the ability to speak, read & write, both English & French, to a high standard.

Qualifications

Formally qualified in mechanical / electrical engineering.
